Final Classification and Valuation Report (FCVR)

Customs Procedures in Ghana require a pre-approval of  the value of the Goods to be declared by the accredited inspection company.  This process requires minimum of 10 days

Customer can provide us with FCVR directly or Muwal Freight Services will acquire it on their behalf.  In this case, we will need all original documents and a minimum of 10 working days prior to the arrival of vessel for processing at appropriate inspection company (determined by the port of loading).   A processing fee of $24.00 is charged to customer in this case.

In this event, Muwal Freight Services will also encourage customers to make themselves available in case the accredited company needs them for clarification in their declared goods.

Please Note:

Clearing of Goods for customer will start only when full documentation is provided.  Any delays in providing the documentation on time may cost the customer additional clearing fees in the form of further rent and demurrage, but these could be avoided if all documentation is received on time.
